Our one day training course for up to 6
personnel at your premises allows your personnel to be trained in the
environment that they will work in.
A Certificate of Successful Course Completion is issued to those who
pass the test at the end of the course and in the opinion of the course
director are competent to carry out DSE workstation assessments in
accordance with the DSE Regulations. This course can be tailored to
your specific requirements.
Course Objective
Every delegate will be able to fulfil the
criteria, as to who should do assessments, as laid out in The DSE
Regulations Guidance booklet, published April 2003, P 15 / 42.
You will understand the importance of workstation
ergonomics and be able to successfully complete DSE assessments, in
line with the Regulations.
Our 'philosophy' as regards to DSE Assessor Training Courses:
We believe that the most important thing is that
delegates on our Courses can go and carryout a DSE Assessment on a
colleague, confidently and competently, the day after the Course.
To do this we like to train the future DSE
Assessors in their Offices, so we address any important issues that are
pertinent to their environment alone.
Details
Chaos
Ergonomics have developed this Course over nearly 10 years and with a
background of carrying out 100s of DSE Assessments for clients. We know
the real problems associated with an office in relation to the DSE
Regulations.
The morning sessions cover the basic legalese a DSE Assessor needs to know to be an assessor, c. 30 mins.
The rest of the morning is devoted to learning
about Posture, workstation layout and problems that DSE Assessors will
come across. We look at the causes and the solutions. A very practical
morning's work.
In the afternoon because we are 'on site' the
delegates complete actual DSE Assessments in situ on themselves,
under our tutelage.
This way we can deal with any specific problems and give the DSE Assessors the solutions.
Our Course is adaptable, we can incorporate specific instructions regarding content for you.
