Options
Chaos Ergonomics offers a range of solutions to
DSE Workstation Assessments. The right level of service is governed by
you and your resources, so we are pleased to offer a choice to suit.
Chaos Ergonomics' DSE Assessors are friendly
people, who have been trained specifically for the job in hand. They
understand the needs of the Organisation as well as the DSE user. They
will get on well with your team.

DSE Assessments form completion with

equipment where necessary and a Report with recommendations.
Our DSE Assessors will:
- Study the way each user works
- Go through a Workstation Best Practice
Training module with each user, that they then sign to say they have
received and understood the necessary training, in accordance with the
DSE Regulations.
- Put right straight away anything that
can be done, such as adjusting the chair correctly, moving the mouse
closer or repositioning the telephone to the correct side.
- Write a detailed Report of what has been changed at the workstation, what problems there might be that need to be addressed.
- Make recommendations as how to resolve any outstanding issues.
- Give time frames for recommended actions and degrees of risk associated with each user.

Health and Safety Training Seminars, which
is pro-active and involves the delegates. Complementary Training
booklet for each delegate:
- 20 delegates at a time.
- Duration 45mins+/-
- Test at end of Seminar, Delegates go
back to their workstations, with an Ergonomic Checklist, and make
changes to their set-up, from information learnt at the Seminar.
- DSE Assessor visits each workstation,
advises user if they have answered a Test question incorrectly, goes
through the Ergonomic Checklist with the user, puts right any wrongs
where possible
- Writes a Report of outstanding Risk.
We have just completed a project for 1500
users using this method, with a very happy client. If you wish to take

Disbursements
Daily travel costs by our DSE Assessors to and
from our Assessor's base Office to each DSE Assessment location to be
reimbursed by yourselves at cost.
